Attic DecksJul 01, 2008 The attic decks are a great idea for those wanting to put attic space to use.
Storage space bonanzaJan 29, 2008 This is a great product. We now have convenient storage space in the attic for Christmas decorations, etc. Because we have a condo built in the 40's, some of the rafters are not consistent in spacing. By folding over tabs on one side of the panels, we were able to fit the panels where the space was slightly less than 16". We're ready to buy more.

Works really well, super easy to install.Nov 26, 2007 This stuff works really well and is extremely easy to install. It's a really good way to add some space in your attic where there is no flooring now. It's a little too pricey to do an entire attic or really vast spaces, but to do a small area or to make a path or something, this stuff really works well. It's also easy to uninstall or to move to another area of the attic if needed, which is also a plus. Also, if ventilation or breathe-ability is important, this will also be a good product to use versus plywood.

Very easy to installApr 08, 2006 I just installed some 16" x 16" panels, and it was fast and easy. I installed these for safety (not falling through the floor) and more storage space, and am very happy with the sturdyness and look of the installed panels. The only shortcoming of the system is I ended up with some gaps where a 16" x 16" wouldn't fit. It would be great if Attic Dek added an 8" x 16" to their product line for more flexibility in the installation.
Update June 29, 2008 - I ordered a set of 16" x 24" panels intending to swap them for the 16" x 16" panels where I needed 8" more length for a better fit. I discovered it's impossible. The 16" x 24" panels won't lay flat over 16" joists due to an elevated middle. However, I discovered I could accomplish my purpose by cutting the 16" x 16" with a circular saw into two sturdy, smaller panels - one with three nail holes, the other with two holes.

Attic Dek 16 x 16 reviewSep 21, 2005 Great product, but a little pricey. The 8 pack of Attic Dek 16 x 16 inch panels has more value than the 4 pack of 24 x 16 panels in my opinion because of the amount of added space it provides. The panels are super-easy to install, and add a decent amount of space...would get 5 out of 5 and I would order several more if the cost was lower.
